A 2-part wine class to taste and learn about the basic grapes of California and their relationship to their ancestors that originally came from France. In the first class we will taste the domestic California versions of six different grapes. The second week will illustrate those same six grapes from their home vineyards within several major wine regions of France.By learning about specific grapes -their history, taste profile, and usage around the world – you will be better able to choose wines that fit your own taste and food matching preferences.
